The Kaduna State Ministry of Youth Development celebrates World Youth Skills Day, (WYSD) advocated for new innovation on Artificial Intelligence creativity and ICT, as the ministry celebrate tenth year anniversary on World Youth Skill Day on Wednesday, 16th, July, 2025.

Kaduna State government says it is committed to youth empowerment through Artificial intelligence and digital skills in order to make them self reliant.

The Deputy Governor who commended the Commissioner of Youth Development, Barrister Gloria Ibrahim for the initiative in marking world youth skills day, said youth in Nigeria and Kaduna State have the largest population, hence the need to indulge them with A.I, creativity and ICT for them to discover and maximize their God giving potentials.

She urged the youth present to take the message learnt during the program seriously and come up with ideas that would be supported by the government and it’s partners in line with the global standard.

The Deputy Governor who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Senior Special Assistant Human Capital Development, Mallam Sagir Balarabe Musa, said, call on the youths to utilize there talent and used the privilege given to them by the state government.

” The state is willing to established center to support the youths in realizing their potential, it’s time for them to used the opportunity especially on the A,I and other technology realize worldwide, he added.

Also speaking also the Commissioner of Youth Development, Kaduna State, Barrister Gloria Ibrahim, speak on the remarkable event which is very important in the state , because this year marks the tenth year anniversary, Kaduna State happened to celebrate it .

She added that , the ministry is working hand in hand with the mind of the governor who have the plan for the youths, urge the youths in the state to prepare because the state government has more in line on impacting them.

” We are calling on youths in the state to come out to showcase there talent, because the governor Senator Uba Sani, has the youth at heart, in line with his agenda, in impacting on youth especially on ICT and other technology, by creating awareness, on innovation and impacting the youths

The event was organized by the State Ministry of Youth Development to mark World Youth Skills Day held at KAD ICT HUB in Kaduna.
