The Personal Particulars of Candidates: On March 30, in accordance with Section 29(3) of the Electoral Act, 2022, INEC will publish the personal particulars of all candidates and their running mates.

These details will include academic credentials and other relevant documents, providing voters with crucial information ahead of the election.

Mr Olumekun urged Nigerians to meticulously examine the published documents. Any discrepancies or false information found regarding a candidate’s credentials can be challenged, as per the provisions outlined in Section 29(5) of the Electoral Act, 2022. Such challenges can be pursued in a Federal High Court, ensuring transparency and integrity in the electoral process.
