The gubernatorial candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 election in Kaduna State, Barr. Mohammed Sani Abbas, has called for a hand of friendship among all members of the party for the overall success of the party in the coming election in the country and the state.

Addressing party members on Sunday after the official declaration of INEC of governorship and House of Assembly candidates in which Barr. Mohammed Sani Abbas is declared the authentic governorship candidate of the party, he stressed the need for all aggrieved members to unite against the 2027 general elections.

Abbas said, “I want to extend my respects and to my leaders: Sen Seiake dickson, the national leader, our presidential candidate and the vice presidentttt candidate, Peter Obi, and Sen Musa musa kwankwaso for their trust and support. I will not disappoint you. I also extend my gratitude to the national chairman and all the members of the national working committee for their support through this process.”

The gubernatorial candidate stated that his success is not merely a personal achievement but a victory for the great party, supporters, and all those who believe in a better future for the people of Kaduna state, calling on all his fellow aspirants to see the victory as their collective success.

According to him, “I extend my hand of friendship and unity to all my brothers and sisters who contested alongside me. Let us put every difference behind us and come together as one strong political family. Our strength lies in our unity, and our shared goal must be the progress and development of our party and the people we want to serve.”

He hailed Senator Danjuma Lar, for his exceptional commitment, courage, and unwavering support towards the growth and progress of the great party, saying that his dedication and contribution to the political family are deeply appreciated.

Abbas stated, “As we move forward, I call on every member and supporter of the NDC to remain calm, united, disciplined, and focused. Together, we can build a stronger party and offer our people credible, purposeful, and responsible leadership in Kaduna State.”

He explained that his victory as the gubernatorial candidature of the party is a victory that belongs to all citizens in the state, pointing out that the journey has just begun, and together, they shall move forward with courage, humility, unity, and a clear vision for a better future.
