ABUJA – Chief Audu Ogbeh, the former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, has sadly passed away at the age of 78.
In a statement released by his family on Saturday, it was confirmed that the esteemed elder statesman died peacefully.
“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our cherished husband, father, and grandfather; Chief Audu Ogbeh,” the statement expressed.
“He departed this life on 9th August 2025, having reached the remarkable age of 78,” it continued.
The family remembered Ogbeh as a man who “left us quietly, bequeathing a legacy of integrity, service, and unwavering dedication to our nation and community.”
“We take solace in the countless lives he influenced and the exemplary path he forged,” the statement added.
