Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has inaugurated the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential and National Assembly campaigns, signalling the party’s early mobilisation for the 2027 general elections.
Represented by his deputy, Kaletapwa Farauta, the governor addressed supporters on Wednesday in Yola, urging residents to cast their votes for APC candidates across all levels.
Ms Farauta commended President Bola Tinubu’s policies and programmes, describing them as commendable efforts to reposition Nigeria on a path of progress and development. She reaffirmed the state government’s steadfast commitment to supporting the President and all APC flag-bearers.
“We remain unwavering in our support for the party and its candidates,” she stated.
The deputy governor announced an ambitious door-to-door campaign strategy designed to mobilise voters throughout Adamawa.
“We will go door-to-door, house to house, village to village, and stand shoulder to shoulder to ensure that the APC wins overwhelmingly in this state,” she declared. “We should all vote APC from top to bottom and from bottom to top.”
Adamawa APC Chairman, Bello Madagali, expressed appreciation for the impressive turnout at the inauguration and called for sustained grassroots campaigns across every corner of the state.
Zakari Hashimu, North-East Zonal Coordinator of the P-BAT Door-to-Door Movement, pledged to mobilise ten million votes for President Tinubu, enabling him to consolidate the gains of his administration.
Speaking on behalf of National Assembly candidates, Mustapha Salihu, APC Senatorial candidate for Adamawa Central, described the inauguration as the dawn of a new era for Nigeria. He urged citizens to support the President, National Assembly aspirants, and other party candidates to sustain ongoing development initiatives.
Mr Salihu thanked President Tinubu for providing a platform for candidates to present their programmes, citing the administration’s people-oriented policies and development agenda as key drivers of progress.
