It has been an annual ritual for the good people of Ogun west , after his stint for three consecutive times at Lagos west that catapulted one of the exercise to Ogun west that had became a talk of the town and challenge to elected officials both at the Senate and House of Representatives, by Senator Ademola Solomon Olamilekan, popularly known as Yayi.
Senator Ademola Solomon Olamilekan, Chairman, Senate committee on appropriation headed the committee on finance in the previous 9th Senate.
Known for his magnanimous empowerment and electioneering strategies towards winning elections, Yayi has provided not only an enabling environment, but activities that had placed his constituents above board in the area of Empowerment, Skill Development, Capacity Building and Training and provision of grants , equipment and seeds that stood out among the comity of elected senators in the country.
Aside providing for his usual annual mega empowerment, Senator Ademola Solomon has erected a mini stadium, town hall , civic centre, provision of solar street lights, Boreholes, Roads , Drugs , built classes and clinics across the Ogun west senatorial district that is almost surpassing the performance of the state and local government areas, that formed Ogun west and the entire Ogun state.
Yayi is one of the senators that out of passion had gone beyond his senatorial district to provide succour to other parts of the then Lagos west and now Ogun west senatorial district.
The popular “ATM” of the good people of Ogun west without discrimination and favouritism has carried out successfully series of programs that had transformed the lives of ordinary citizens from Ogun west, irrespective of color ,race , tribe, and political differences.
For Senator Ademola Solomon Olamilekan popularly known as Yayi who is loved by his people and beyond , gathered his extraction and constituents to present to them on annual basis the score card in the area of plenary , oversight, committee and adhoc jobs to the betterment of Ogun west and by and large the entire state and Nigeria at large.
The annual exercise that has become a rallying point for the good people Yewa land and Ogun west had provided a leeway for self sustenance, self reliance and self realization in all areas of both personal development and advancement.
His posture had become a rallying point for the political class , traditional ruler’s , scholars , opinion leaders, opinion moulders and ordinary citizens of the area and outside the shores of Ogun west senatorial district.
For his consistence in the annual exercise, it has become a veritable tool for the development of infrastructure, provision of social security and amenities, as well as template towards ensuring good governance in the Senatorial district.
For Senator Ademola Solomon Olamilekan Yayi, the provision of mega empowerment items was the begining of wisdom to ensure self help , self support spread across the Ogun west and Ogun state in general.
This year’s 2024 event , just been concluded after some weeks had brought succour to the people of Ogun west far and near and Ogun state at large .
