Gwamna, in a letter dated 19th August 2024, disclosed that he withdrew from the race after wider consultation with his family, Party officials, and close associates.

The letter titled “Withdrawal from Kagarko Local Government Contest”

Reads In Parts;

“It is with the highest sense of responsibility that I write to inform you of my withdrawal from the Kagarko Local Government Chairmanship Contest scheduled for October 19, 2024.

“The decision to withdraw from the race was after wider consultations with my family, party officials, and close associates and after a thorough review.

“I wish to assure the leadership of our great party at all levels of my commitment to the success of the party both now and in the future. May I also seize this opportunity to thank you for your encouragement and moral support since my declaration.”

“For those who have supported me right from the beginning of my aspiration, I thank you all for believing in me, and I hope everyone will understand this to be the will of God, and as humans, we must accept whatever He designs for us, Gwamna added.

Despite my withdrawal from the Local Government polls, my commitment to our people and the development of Kagarko Local Government remains sacrosanct. I’ll continue to project our party and ensure its success at the forthcoming 19th October 2024 elections.
