Federal Government agency heads appointed by President Bola Tinubu have called for continuity in his reform agenda, arguing that sustained implementation is essential to secure lasting gains for Nigerians.

The declaration came on Thursday during the inaugural meeting of the Forum of PBAT CEOs in Abuja, where members also endorsed the President’s re-election bid for 2027.

Dr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji, Convener of the Forum and Director-General of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI), described Tinubu as a courageous reformer unafraid to confront Nigeria’s structural challenges.

Speaking under the theme, “Strengthening Collective Leadership, Mobilisation and Support for the Re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda,” Raji highlighted key policy shifts, including the removal of fuel subsidies, foreign exchange reforms, fiscal and tax overhauls, power-sector improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and renewed investment drives.

“One good term deserves another. Nigeria has embarked on a difficult reform journey, and the fruits of these policies require time, consistency, and continuity to fully mature,” Raji stated.

He urged his colleagues to take ownership of the Renewed Hope Agenda by delivering measurable outcomes and communicating them effectively to the public. According to him, agencies must clearly demonstrate how their programmes have generated employment, supported entrepreneurs, attracted investment, upgraded infrastructure, and expanded opportunities for youth, women, and other demographic groups.

Raji explained that the forum was established to foster unity, enhance inter-agency collaboration, eliminate duplication of efforts, and provide coordinated backing for government policies.

He also called on members to galvanise support through professional and grassroots networks ahead of the 2027 elections, stressing that all engagement must remain lawful, peaceful, ethical, and issue-based.

“Our responsibility is not to compel anyone. It is to inform, engage, and persuade through performance, while presenting the facts about the progress being made,” he added.

Raji further urged members to promote the administration’s achievements based on verifiable evidence rather than propaganda, and to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity as public servants.

The Forum of PBAT CEOs brings together heads of Federal Government agencies appointed during the Tinubu administration.
