The book, titled Ukala’s Manual on Appellate Practice for the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Nigeria, will be unveiled at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja on 29 April.

According to sources close to the planning committee, the former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, will lead top dignitaries to the ceremony.

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, will also attend, alongside leading lawyers from across the country.

Other expected guests include the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Olasunkanmi Fagbemi; the President of the Court of Appeal; and the Chief Judges of the Federal High Court and the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory.

The source added that several state governors, federal and state lawmakers, captains of industry, eminent legal scholars, traditional rulers, and frontline politicians are also scheduled to honour the legal luminary.

The book has been edited by Bar and Bench Press Limited, a well-known publishing firm based in Abuja. Organisers have assured that all arrangements are in place for a smooth and hitch-free unveiling.
