Hon. Gabriel Saleh Haar, the member representing Kachia/Kagarko Federal Constituency, has congratulated the Muslim ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-kabir celebrations, urging them to imbibe the spirit of unity, tolerance and patriotism.

Hon. Haar in his Sallah message issued to newsmen in Kaduna on Sunday, he enjoins Muslims to imbibe the virtues of love, sacrifice and tolerance which the occasion signifies.

” I am calling on all the Muslim faithfuls and indeed, all Nigerians to pray for peace, unity, justice, equity, and prosperity of the Constituency and the nation as we grapple with the task of building a strong, virile, stable and just democratic society.

“The state of the nation is bad and we are calling for patriotism by all Nigerians to confront multifarious challenges bedeviling the country.

He also stressed that Muslims across the nation and his constituents should live in love, embrace peace and pursue unity for development to thrive, and pledged to carry along in his representation at the National Assembly.

” I joins Muslim brothers and sisters to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, the festival of sacrifice, which symbolizes an act of obedience to Almighty Allah.

” Our Constituency is a project that must not fail and this can only be achieved with our hard work, dedication and prayer,” he said.

“I also use this opportunity of the Eid El Kabir celebration by our Muslim brothers and sisters to call on all Nigerians to shun hate and all forms of wickedness resulting in kidnapping, killings and different shades of criminality.

“Let us allow love to lead the way, live sacrificial lives and imbibe the spirit of forgiveness as thought and practised by the Prophet of God. We should tolerate one another and stop fanning the embers of hate, violence and division.” The Federal lawmaker appealed.
