His revelations shed light on a series of political challenges, attributing his setbacks to targeted attacks against his political mentor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

In a candid discussion during a Kwankwasiyya Movement stakeholders meeting in Kano, Yusuf unveiled the motives behind his removal, emphasizing the orchestrated nature of the attacks against him.

This revelation comes following the affirmation of the tribunal’s judgment by the Court of Appeal, marking a crucial moment in Kano State’s political landscape.

Political Machinations Unveiled
Yusuf detailed how his losses at both the Elections Petition Tribunal and the recent ruling by the Court of Appeal were intricately linked to his association with Kwankwaso.

The governor expressed resilience, vowing to continue working under Kwankwaso’s guidance and leadership, despite the political adversity.

The stakeholders meeting, convened by Kwankwaso, witnessed the presence of key figures, including the state deputy governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam, Speaker of the state House of Assembly Ismail Falgore, federal lawmaker Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, and leaders of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

This gathering underscored the solidarity and support for Kwankwaso’s vision.

Yusuf, appreciating Kwankwaso’s unwavering vision, conveyed gratitude to his political godfather.

Despite potential challenges and global skepticism, he affirmed their commitment to Kwankwaso’s vision, emphasizing loyalty and pride in their association.

As Governor Yusuf addressed the party leaders, he urged them to remain hopeful and avoid engaging in confrontations.

Encouraging a focus on motivating the people of Kano, he committed to continuing people-centric projects, including support for women and children and addressing pension and gratuity concerns.
