The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ekiti South Federal Constituency I, Engr. Toyin Okoro, has pledged to prioritise infrastructure, employment, and improved access to education and healthcare if elected to the House of Representatives in 2027.
Okoro, who unveiled his promises in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday, is campaigning under the slogan “Okorokoro Onaa” — interpreted as “The Main Road and The Good Road to Prosperity.”
The candidate argued that the constituency demands representation rooted in competence and a steadfast commitment to sustainable development.
His legislative agenda, he said, would centre on road infrastructure to stimulate economic growth, youth employment and skills training, and support for farmers and small-scale enterprises. He also vowed to enhance access to quality education and healthcare facilities across Ekiti South.
“I will provide effective legislative representation, sponsor people-oriented bills, and ensure that Ekiti South receives its rightful share of federal projects and interventions,” Okoro stated.
The APC flag-bearer said his platform aligns with the party’s Renewed Hope agenda and its pledge of inclusive growth.
“Ekiti South deserves a voice that commands respect in Abuja and delivers results at home. Engr. Toyin Okoro offers tested capacity, integrity, and alignment with the APC’s commitment to Renewed Hope and inclusive growth,” he added.
Okoro called on constituents to back his candidacy, describing it as the pathway to purposeful leadership for the federal constituency.
The campaign has also adopted “Igba Otun De” — “The time is right” — as its mobilisation slogan ahead of the 2027 elections.
