A staunch member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), and also Senior Special Assistant on health matters to the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. AA Sule, Hon. Dr. Princess Margaret Elayo, have embarked on the door to door campaign in her local community, Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, to ensuring that the party emerge victoriously come Saturday February 25th presidential election.
Margaret who is a founder of MEEN foundation and a philanthropist in chat with our reporter said she remain committed to ensure that APC clench power at all levels, which includes; presidency, Governorship, Senate, House of Representatives, State Assembly seats respectively.
She maintained that Governor A.A Sule led administration have demonstrated positive impact on the lives of the citizens of the state especially in the area infrastructural development, human capital development, economic growth among others.
“As I speak with you, I am in my community doing door to door campaigns. I am sensitizing my people for them to know how to vote our party candidates.
“I can tell you that Engr. A A Sule have demonstrated true leadership style, and by providing positive impact especially in the area of infrastructural development, human capital development, economic growth among others”, she said.
Speaking about MEEN foundation, Dr. Elayo said that she’s passionate in uplifting the lives of the vulnerable people in the society, more especially the orphans, Internal Displaced Persons, IDPs, people with disabilities, and the widows through medical outreach, provision of succour such as food items, clothing, financial support, cancelling, educational materials, vocational training among others.
“I am proud seeing myself uplifting the lives of the vulnerable people in the society. I have a passion on it. I always want to be supportive to ordinary people by providing succour to them, more especially the orphans, Internal Displaced Persons, IDPs, people with disabilities, widows among others.
“We provide them with food items, clothing, financial support, cancelling, educational materials, vocational training and what have you.
Putting smile on people’s faces gives me joy no matter how little I have”, she added.
Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) have assured Nigerians that no going back with the date of the election Saturday February 25th 2023. It promised to conduct credible free, fear and peaceful election across Nigeria.
