An Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, on Tuesday remanded a 21-year old man, Pamilerin Adams, in a correctional centre over theft of kitchen utensils valued N85,500.

Adams, whose address was not provided, was facing trial for stealing to which he pleaded guilty.

The Magistrate, Mrs Adebola Adebola, therefore, adjourned the case until May 30 for judgment.

Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp Iyabo Oladoyin told the court that the defendant committed the offence at about 11.00 a.m on May 14, at Foko area, Ibadan.

Oladoyin said that Adams stole pots, plates, iron pot cover and crates of empty soft drink bottles worth N85,500.

She said the offence contravened Section 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.(NAN)
