In a sorrowful event, Alhaji Zayyanu Muhammad-Bello, the esteemed Chairman of Maiyama Local Government Area in Kebbi State, has passed away at the age of 47.

The heartbreaking news was confirmed by Alhaji Ahmed Idris, the Chief Press Secretary to the Kebbi Governor, through a statement released in Birnin Kebbi.

The chairman breathed his last in the early hours of Thursday at the Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital in Sokoto, succumbing to a prolonged illness.

Expressing deep sympathy, the Kebbi State Government extends heartfelt condolences to his immediate family and the entire Maiyama Local Government Area community.

A prayer is offered to Almighty Allah, seeking forgiveness for all his shortcomings and granting him a place in Jannatul Firdaus.

In the aftermath of this tragic loss, the late council chairman is survived by two wives and three children, leaving behind a void that resonates within the community.

Alhaji Zayyanu Muhammad-Bello’s journey began in the heart of Kebbi State, where he emerged as a prominent figure.

His leadership in Maiyama Local Government Area bore witness to dedication and commitment.

The late chairman was not just a leader; he was a catalyst for positive change. Through various initiatives, he aimed to enhance the lives of the people in Maiyama, leaving a lasting impact on the community.
