Rev. Fr. Gabriel Ukeh of St Thomas Parish in Kaduna, who was kidnapped on Sunday, has been released, according to Rev. Fr. Okafor Tochukwu, the Director of Communications.

The priest was returned safely to his parish community on Monday evening.

“With gratitude to God, we announce the safe release of our Brother and Priest, Rev. Fr. Gabriel Ukeh,” said Rev. Fr. Okafor.

“We acknowledge and appreciate the kind and prayerful support of all who worked round the clock to make this a reality.”
