According to him, Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is ready to facilitate peace across the nation as his organisation’s goal is to ensure that the country finds a lasting solution to peace.
Banditry is a type of organized crime committed by outlaws typically involving the threat or use of violence. A person who engages in banditry is known as a bandit and primarily commits crimes such as extortion, robbery, and murder, either as an individual or in groups.
In Nigeria, these are armed rural gangs that rustle cattle, kidnap, loot, rape and extort villages.
Community policing is a philosophy that emphasizes working proactively with citizens in order to prevent crime and to solve crime-related problems. Partnership is a key element of Community Policing because the police and the public must partner together in order to adequately fight crime.
“Our week long community campaigns is to sensitize the people on the dangers of insecurity and abating terrorists across the country. We at the Peace Commission do not ascribe to any particular tribe, ethnicity or religion. We are only calling on everyone to be at alert on the responsibility of supporting the president and the security apparatus.” With his body language that he kicked started in his 1st 20 days in office, it clearly shows that Mr President is ready to lead Nigeria to the Promised land, so help him GOD !!!
I would like to seize this opportunity to advise the former VP Alh Atiku Abubakar GCON and the former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi to, as a matter of National Interest, Peace & Unity, withdraw their cases from the election tribunal and support the president with their patriotic ideas to move the Country forward, Nigeria and Nigerians have suffered in recent times due to bad leadership at various levels across the Country, it therefore pertinent to embrace peace as the ultimate goal.” He stressed.
