Prominent Nigerian industrialists Chief Prof Clerks Madubugwu Ibeto CON CEO Ibeto Group and Chief Innocent Ifeadiaso Chukwuma CON Chairman/CEO Innoson Group, alongside Apostle Chuks Alozie, are set to celebrate Archbishop Emma David Okafoagu’s 50 years of dedicated Christian ministry.

The milestone event, scheduled for 28 June at the New Covenant Cathedral in Akaboukwu, Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State, will honour the Archbishop’s lifelong contributions to faith and community.

 

Chief Ibeto, a leading industrialist, will chair the occasion, while Chief Chukwuma, Group Chairman of Innoson Group, serves as the Special Guest of Honour.

 

Apostle Chuks Alozie, Coordinator of the Abia Apostolic Intercessory Team and Group Managing Director of GSST Group, will deliver a keynote address as the guest speaker.

 

Born on 4 October 1948 in Obiagu Uruagu, Nnewi, Archbishop Okafoagu began his education at St. John’s The Cross and later attended Christ the King College, Onitsha.

 

He pursued Theology at Cornerstone University’s Onitsha Campus and trained in Christian Chaplaincy at the Divine Institute of Chaplaincy Corps International.

 

In 1983, Okafoagu founded the New Covenant of God Mission in Uruagu, where he remains General Superintendent, and established the New Covenant Nursery and Primary School in 2003.

 

His influence extends beyond ministry, having served as Chairman of Asikaebeili Industries Ltd, Vice Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Nnewi, and Deputy Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Anambra Chapter.

A respected publisher, Okafoagu heads the Board Time News-Magazine and is active in humanitarian efforts through the Rotary Club International and Civil Liberties Organisation.

 

His academic contributions include roles as a Professor of Christian Theology and Management at the Masterseed College of Bishops and Ministers Network, where he also serves as International President.

 

Okafoagu’s accolades include doctorates in Divinity and Philosophy from institutions like Rapha Faith International University and Zion Ministerial Colleges.

The celebration underscores Archbishop Okafoagu’s enduring legacy as a pillar of faith, education, and community development across Nigeria and beyond.
