The Catholic Women Organization CWO Kogi state wing has presented an award to the SDP governorship candidate for the November election, Murtala Yakubu Ajaka with a promise not to only to vote massively, but mobilise in droves for his victory in the next election.

The occasion tool place during the ongoing Catholic Women Conference holding in Ankpa on Saturday.

While presenting the award, the christian women assured the SDP candidate that the entire christendom will key into his change mantra for the return of good governance in Kogi state.

They appealed to the state and federal government to create an enabling environment for all and sundry to exercise their franchise, devoid of any denial and crises.

The women organisation said what Kogi needs now is not only change, but return of good governance, stating that the people have suffered alot.

Highlights of the occasion included the presentation of the award by the Bishop of Idah Diocese, Anthony Adaji assisted by some clergy, Catholic Women, prayers and supplications.
