The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Eradication, Dr. Betta Edu has reaffirmed her position in the war to eradicate poverty. This is in view of her interest to lead the forthcoming Nigeria Stakeholders Conversation themed “Poverty Eradication Pathway: Roadmap to SDG 2030.

The most anticipated symposium is organized in commemoration of the 2023 United Nation International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. It will be held on the 17th of Oct. 2023, at IBB International Golf Club Aso Drive, FCT, Abuja.

This national event is expected to come up with a 7 years Roadmap for the poverty eradication agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope mandate.

Amongst the expected Guests and Panelists are, Prince Arthur Eze, MD/CEO Atlas Oranto Petroleum who is the Father of the Day, Bar Uju Kennedy , Minister for women Affairs,  Dr. Faizal Shuaib, Samiu Adeniran,  Ojogun Osifo, Engr. TS Jack Rich, Dr Sam Amadi, Dr Nickolas Felix, Chief Ezekiel Afunkoyo, MD, Everfresh World Energy Services Limited, Prof. Udenta O. Udenta, Dr. Faisal Shuaib, Executive Director National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Hon. Zuwaira Gambo, Commissioner Women Affairs and Social Development Borno state, amongst others.

Speaking with the Convener, Mr. Blessing Oyefeso emphasied on the continued reinforcements in efforts aimed at advocating for more institutional commitments and individual contributions towards achieving the vision to eradicate poverty in Nigeria.
