The Grassroots Mobilisation Initiative (GMI), has commended Mr. Seyi Tinubu for his outstanding philanthropic efforts in improving the lives of vulnerable Nigerians and supporting small businesses across northern states.

GMI noted that several communities are already benefiting from Seyi Tinubu’s free medical outreach and targeted economic empowerment programmes in Kaduna and Sokoto States.

In a statement issued by its National Coordinator, Samaila Musa, the group noted that through the Youth in Business for Seyi Tinubu initiative, over 2,000 people have benefitted from comprehensive healthcare services across underserved communities.

He said: “In Kaduna State, residents of Kachia in Southern Kaduna and Kabala in Kaduna North have received free medical check-ups, eye tests, prescription glasses, essential medication, and drugs. Similarly, in Sokoto State, beneficiaries from Mabera of Sokoto South LGA, Bodinga LGA and other surrounding areas enjoyed the same vital health interventions.

“On this note, the GMI opined that these outreach programmes have brought healthcare directly to those who need it most in a pragmatic effort to expand access to quality medical services for the destitutes in our midst.

“Furthermore, we learnt that Mr. Seyi Tinubu has also empowered 1,000 small business owners with need-based financial and renewable energy support. In both Sokoto and Kaduna States, 500 entrepreneurs per state received ₦50,000 each alongside solar power packages to enhance their businesses, reduce operating costs, and promote sustainable livelihoods.

“We believe that in a region where access to quality healthcare and economic opportunities remains a pressing challenge, Seyi’s interventions have brought hope, healing, and a pathway to self-reliance for thousands.

“With these supports reaching both rural and urban poor who have long been excluded from affordable healthcare, Mr. Seyi has proven that he is concerned with the plight of the ordinary Nigerians who are struggling to earn legitimate livelihoods.

“The GMI further contended that the outreach has done more than treat illnesses as it has restored confidence, given fresh hope to struggling families, and provided the tools for many to take control of their economic futures.

“Thus, as Bonafide northerners who reciprocate good-for-good, recognise this dual-impact initiative as an exemplary model of grassroots development that addresses both urgent health needs and long-term economic sustainability for the weak and poor.

“We believe that Seyi’s vision and compassion demonstrate the kind of leadership and social investment Northern Nigeria urgently needs. By combining healthcare with economic empowerment, he is not only saving lives but also securing livelihoods.

“Although we reliably learnt that such interventions will be replicated across states, nevertheless, we deem it crucial to commend him to boost his morale to continue with the life-changing support to Nigerians at the bottom of the prosperity ladder.”

GMI further called on other well-meaning Nigerians, corporate bodies, and political leaders to emulate Mr. Tinubu’s impactful approach to community service.

He added, “We deeply appreciate Mr. Seyi and pledge our continued support for initiatives that uplift our people and strengthen our communities. We pray that May Almighty Allah continue to propel him to greater heights as he wipes off the tears of the needy.”
