In a notable development, the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has officially accepted video recordings featuring General T.Y. Danjuma, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, and State Security Service Director General Adeola Ajayi as part of Nnamdi Kanu’s defence.
Justice James Omotosho ruled in favour of admitting the flash drive containing the three distinct videos, designated as Exhibit PW-P, along with a compliance certificate labelled Exhibit PWP-1.
The evidence was presented by Paul Erokoro, legal representative for Mr Kanu, the leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra, with no objections raised by the federal government’s counsel, Adegboyega Awomolo.
The videos were subsequently shown in open court, during which a witness from the SSS, referred to as BBB, was cross-examined by Mr Erokoro.
