Nigerian Grammy-winning singer Damini Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, has surpassed compatriot Tems to secure the most Billboard U.S. Hot 100 entries by any African artiste.

The record-breaking achievement follows the chart debut of ‘Dai Dai’, his official World Cup collaboration with Shakira. The track experienced a dramatic surge in streams and airplay after the duo performed it live during the tournament’s opening ceremony, propelling it onto the prestigious countdown.
