A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Abia State, Apostle Chuks Alozie, has applauded Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for what he described as her remarkable achievements within a short time in office.

Alozie, who is also the Executive Chairman of the GATRUS-WIN Empowerment Foundation, gave the commendation in his congratulatory message to mark the First Lady’s 65th birthday.

He said Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Initiative had significantly boosted economic growth, social cohesion, and humanitarian support for vulnerable Nigerians.

According to him, the programmes under the initiative had provided food, healthcare, shelter, education, and support for civil engagement across the country.

“As our First Lady, through the RHI you are championing sound education with scholarships, support for girl-child education, adult literacy and alternative high school for girls,” he said.

The APC stalwart highlighted Tinubu’s interventions in agriculture, noting her support for farmers through subsidised fertiliser, farm equipment, training, grants and cooperatives.

He added that the First Lady’s skill acquisition programmes and grants were equipping Nigerians with resources for economic empowerment.

Alozie further praised her efforts in supporting orphans, widows, the elderly and the physically challenged through financial assistance and small loans for start-up businesses.

On health, he said the First Lady had advanced maternal and child healthcare, championed advocacy against infectious diseases, and facilitated rehabilitation centres to combat drug abuse.

He also noted her after-school programmes, job training for adults, and initiatives such as community gardens and “Every Home a Garden,” which he said were effective strategies against hunger.

While expressing gratitude to God for Tinubu’s life, Alozie urged her to remain focused on her humanitarian work in line with President Bola Tinubu’s drive to stabilise the economy.

He prayed for her continued good health, wisdom, and long life.
