The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has issued an alert on the emergence of a new sect known as ACHAD Life Mission International, with its headquarters located in Kaduna State.

The announcement, contained in a statement signed by CIS A.A. Aridegbe, the Principal Staff Officer to the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (CGIS), Kemi Nanna Nandap, was obtained by Elanza News.

According to the statement, intelligence reports indicate that the sect’s leader, identified as Mr. Yokana, resides in Jos, Plateau State.

The sect reportedly rejects both Islam and Christianity, instead advocating for the restoration of African traditions and providing humanitarian support.

However, the NIS warns that ACHAD Life Mission International may be involved in illicit activities, including human trafficking and child separation.

The sect is said to be actively recruiting members both within and beyond Nigeria’s borders.

“In light of the above, you are requested to stay vigilant, and report immediately any sign of the sect, and where possible arrest and revert accordingly,” the statement urged.

The NIS has called for heightened vigilance and cooperation from citizens to address potential security risks associated with the sect.
