As reactions continue to greet the Ministerial nomination of former Governor of Rivers State, Chief (Barr) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike by the Tinubu administration, the immediate past State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bro. Felix Obuah, has expressed delight over the development.

Bro. Obuah in a statement in Port Harcourt on Tuesday described Wike’s nomination and successful screening for a ministerial slot as a “bold and strategic move” by the Bola Tinubu administration to transform the country.

Renowned for his sharp political acumen, Bro. Obuah emphasized that former Governor Wike’s nomination would bring immense benefits to the country, given his wide experience in governance and proven track records as a transformative leader during his tenure as governor.

“With Wike at the helm of affairs in Tinubu’s cabinet, we can expect a progressive and visionary approach to addressing the nation’s challenges,” Obuah stated confidently.

Bro. Obuah, who steered the ship of the PDP’s overall campaign during the last general election in Rivers State, noted that Wike’s dedication, vision, and relentless efforts to improve the lives of Nigerians have been exemplary, adding that the former governor’s achievements have garnered admiration from both within and outside the state.

He affirmed that Governor Wike’s exceptional leadership qualities, extensive experience, and deep understanding of the challenges facing the nation will undoubtedly make him an outstanding asset in the federal government.
