Nugget 6: Addressing Long-Neglected Issues.

Tackling long-standing issues, such as significant investments and revenue losses in the oil sector due to insecurity and theft, is a top priority for the government.

Nugget 7: Ending Unsustainable Subsidy Regime.

The government has taken decisive action to put an end to the regressive subsidy regime, addressing inefficiencies in the oil and gas value chain and saving significant sums for reinvestment.

Nugget 8: A Proactive Approach from Day One.

From the onset, the government has implemented measures to unify exchange rates, deregulate PMS pricing, and enhance security in oil-producing states, securing Nigeria’s future.

Nugget 9: Ambitious Targets for Crude and Gas Production.

Setting ambitious goals, the government aims for a minimum daily production of 1.8mb/d of crude and 3.5bcfg, with plans to further increase production for a stronger economy.

The transition to a green economy involves reducing carbon emissions and incorporating carbon capture and utilization technologies in LNG projects to drive energy efficiency.

To combat corruption effectively, the government aims to empower the judiciary and legislature, while ensuring freedom of information, security, and right of association for all.

Nugget 18: Embracing the Asiwaju Plan for Nigeria.
