The Read Nigeria Project, an initiative of Adwinsa Publications Nigerian Limited and Ibadan Book Club dedicated to promoting a culture of reading in Nigeria, is excited to announce the launch of its latest initiative to increase literacy rates and improve access to books for all Nigerians.

The initiative, which was founded in 2022, has been working tirelessly to promote the importance of reading and to provide access to books for children and adults in underprivileged communities throughout Nigeria.

With the launch of the new initiative, the Read Nigeria Project aims to increase the number of book clubs in Nigeria, as well as to provide more resources and training for librarians and educators. The initiative also includes plans to establish mobile libraries and bookmobiles, which will bring books and reading resources directly to communities in need.

In addition, the Read Nigeria Project will be working with schools and educational institutions to develop reading programs and to encourage students to read more. The organization will also be partnering with local businesses and organizations to provide books and reading resources to their communities.

The Read Nigeria Project believes that by promoting a culture of reading, it can help to improve literacy rates and to create a more educated and informed society. With this new initiative, the organization hopes to reach even more people and to make a positive impact on the lives of many Nigerians.

“Reading is a fundamental right, and it is essential for the development and growth of individuals and society as a whole,” said Wole Adedoyin, the founder of the Read Nigeria Project. “We are committed to providing access to books and reading resources to all Nigerians, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status.”

The Read Nigeria Project is currently seeking donations and partnerships to help fund and support the new initiative. The organization is also looking for volunteers to help with the implementation of the initiative and to assist with the organization’s ongoing efforts.

“We are proud of the work that we have done so far, but there is still so much more to be done,” said Wole Adedoyin. “With your help, we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of Nigerians and to promote a culture of reading in our country.”
