The former Kogi Governor dropped this advise during the launch of Kogi east for Atiku\Okowa and presentation of flag to other PDP candidates in Kogi east in CMML Junior primary Anyigba on Saturday as part of preparations for the February and March 2023 general elections.

He sensitised the people of the area on the need to go back to the drawing board using the proverbial quotes of “A man with two wives, knows the better one by now” as the situation in kogi state under APC led government as pitiable and pathetic.

He urged them to demonstrate oneness and focus on winning the elections, as the popular saying by a hunter to go to the bush and kill an elephant before negotiating which part to take after the hunting adventure .

“We must all ressolve to vote PDP and not candidates, as if you want a share of a meat from a hunter who went on a hunting spree, you must first of all kill the animal from the bush before talking of mode of sharing.”

He said the people of Kogi state, Nigeria in general has suffered too long as the coming elections is the only leeway to liberate themselves from the shackles of poverty and underdevelopment both in kogi state and Nigeria at large.

He admonished them not to sell their PVCs and protect them from vandals and criminals who may be out to cajole them through any means possible , saying PDP will be the only messiah to kogites and Nigerians.

He warned them to be prepared and put behind the issue of violence and thuggery , saying events has overtaken all the old vogues, saying their votes is their power and strength.

Jakadan Sokoto begged them to endeavor to exercise their franchise, as their votes remained their power to political emancipation to the people of Kogi state and Nigeria at large.

He salutes their perseverance, patience and ressolve to vote PDP at all levels, saying good old days will return back to Nigeria.
