The Senior Pastor of Zion Flames Ministries, Apostle Momo Promise, has unveiled the church’s first physical structure in Lagos, marking a major shift from years of online worship to in-person fellowship.

Promise disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja , yesterday ,following the unveiling of the church building over the weekend.

He said the decision to establish a physical worship centre was driven by obedience to what he described as a divine mandate to spread the gospel and make disciples across nations.

“For five years, we have been praying online with followers all over the world. Many kept asking where they could worship with us physically, so we felt it was time to have a place to gather,” he said.

The cleric explained that the building was purchased in May but required extensive renovation, which delayed completion for about six months.

According to him, the project was not without challenges, particularly balancing live online broadcasts with supervising the physical church work.

“The moment God led us to get the building, He made provisions. The major challenge was managing both the online ministry and the physical project,” he stated.

Promise said the facility, located in the Ojo area of Lagos, has a seating capacity of about 40 worshippers and is intended as a starting point.

He added that the ministry plans to acquire a larger space soon, as it pursues expansion.

Looking ahead, the pastor said Zion Flames Ministries aims to establish branches across the world within the next five to 10 years and set up an orphanage foundation.

Describing the project as miraculous, Promise revealed that the instruction to begin the physical ministry came while he was in Uganda in April.

“We returned to Nigeria in May, and that same month, God miraculously provided the building,” he said.

He stressed that prayers and faith were central to the success of the project, noting that he had no prior connections in the Ojo area when he was first directed to the location in 2021.

Promise also expressed gratitude to members and supporters of the ministry for their financial, spiritual and moral support, describing them as key to the realisation of the vision.
