The All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Kaduna have expressed confidence in President Bola Tinubu and Uba Sani, the governor of the state, for their “outstanding leadership and people-centred policies”.

A statement by Yahaya Pate, state secretary of the party, said stakeholders endorsed the leaders during a meeting on Thursday.

Pate said the meeting assessed the results of recent state and zonal meetings, received new and returning members, and evaluated “the performance of the APC administration both at the federal and state levels”.

He added that caucus gatherings should take place at zonal, local government, and ward levels before the APC-led administration’s second anniversary, “where new members and returnees will be introduced”.

Pate also called on party representatives to “open or reinvigorate party offices in wards, local government areas, and zonal levels within the next three months”.

The meeting was chaired by Governor Uba Sani, the leader of APC in Kaduna, and was attended by Abbas Tajudeen, speaker, house of representatives, and former Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero.

Balarabe Abbas Lawal, minister of environment; Garba Datti Muhammad, the national vice chairman (north-west) of the APC; and Dahiru Liman, the speaker of the Kaduna house of assembly, were also in attendance.

Several other key stakeholders of the party in Kaduna also attended the meeting.
