In a significant development, the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos has officially reopened to traffic after an extensive seven-week closure for repair and enhancement works.
The reopening comes with notable improvements including fresh lane markings, installation of new streetlights, and the integration of CCTV surveillance systems.
Confirming this eagerly awaited reopening, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the Commissioner for Transportation in Lagos, issued a statement on Saturday, March 30, extending gratitude to the residents of Lagos for their understanding and collaboration throughout the repair period.
