This was in view of the Infrastructural decay , dilapidated and decapitated structures across first , second and third generation institutions, both at the federal and state level desiring gradual attention in line with the newly introduced template known as TERAS.

With the growing demand and daily increase of carrying capacity militating against the thriving institutions, which may not augur well for competition and requirements of the current situations in the 21st century, particularly in the area of global best practices .

Armed with dual roles of improving infrastructure, capacity building of the lecturers, improved teaching and learning process in the institutions, the timely introduction of TERAS by the Echono led TETFUND became a corrolary for both global and local exhibitions.

It also gives room for wholistic revitalization, reforms and significant drive towards inculcating quality Education, students welfare and academic excellence across board.

No doubt , the basic criteria geared towards promotion of constant research and innovation, as well as innovative programs seamlessly adopted by Tertiary institutions across board with the introduction of TERAS.

With the new template guiding the operation of TERAS, the decayed infrastructure yearning for government attention over the years , with no clear cut decision and attention, training and retraining of both the academic and non academic staffers of institutions, as well as create an enabling environment for all round development to to thrive in all areas.

Since research and innovation had been a recurring decimal and core of the activities carried out at the tertiary institution’s , particularly towards the development of lecturers, students , with a view to creating favourable gradual outcomes , graduates employability and better workforce preparedness at the tertiary institution’s level.

The new order known as TERAS inaugurated by the Echono management team will gradually phase out not only obsolete equipments and infrastructures, but academics who have deliberately refused to develop themselves in line with the digital age .

TERAS ideas was capable of stabilizing local and international discrepancies, discrimination that will play down on the core values and desire to promote teaching and learning in a serene environment.

The positive effects of the new template, TERAS had begun to adore Nigeria’s tertiary institution’s, with provision by TETFUND for all round promotion of research and innovation across board.
