48 groups under the auspices of the Rivers State Amalgamated Support Groups For Tinubu/ Shettima, have lauded Rivers State Governor, Siminalaye Fubara and his deputy, Professor Ngozi Ordu, on their inauguration as the seventh democratically-elected governor and deputy governor of the state.
The groups, in a statement made available to newsmen in Port Harcourt by their leader, Chief Tony Okocha, said they look forward to effective collaboration with the Fubara-led administration, having worked assiduously in ensuring your victory at the March 18, 2023 governorship polls.
The statement reads in part: “Our dear Governor, we are proud that our amiable leader and us partnered effectively with your illustrious predecessor, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, in ensuring
the historic victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in Rivers State.
“In a reciprocatory manner, we also worked relentlessly together and assiduously in ensuring your victory at the governorship polls.
“We look forward to our effective Collaboration and sincere contribution to the anticipated superlative governance which we deeply and sincerely believe that you are adequately prepared and determined to give Rivers people good governance
“It is our earnest and fervent prayer that the Almighty God will graciously grant you the strength, wisdom and acumen to truly consolidate on the lofty developmental.strides and legacies of your predecessor and, in doing so, making Rivers State and its people the pride of the nation.”
