The Obidient Movement is set to make a robust comeback as prominent political figures converge in Abuja on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, for a significant event titled “The Renaissance of the Obidient Movement.”

Key attendees will include Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate from 2023; Governor Alex Otti of Abia State; and Senator Nenadi Usman, the Acting National Chairman of the Labour Party, along with other dedicated leaders and citizens committed to advancing good governance and active civic participation.

According to a release from the Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR), Mr. Obi will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, with Governor Otti and fellow movement leaders in attendance.

A highlight of the event will be a keynote address by Professor Sam Amadi, a distinguished legal expert and public policy analyst. His discussion, “The Inevitability of a New Nigeria,” will centre on the urgent need for political transformation and national rejuvenation.

Dr. Yunusa Tanko, the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, will also address the audience, alongside other grassroots leaders and civic advocates advocating for democratic advancement.

Additionally, the day will see the launch of a new publication titled *Obi: The Political Change Agent*, authored by seasoned journalist Mr. Ike Abonyi, a former Group Political Editor at THISDAY and ex-Deputy Managing Director at New Telegraph. The foreword is penned by human rights attorney Mr. Dele Farotimi, with the review conducted by Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze, a former diplomat and campaign manager for the Obi-Datti presidential team.
