Olanrewaju Kayode’s Wife threatens to sue him over paternity allegation

Ezinne Dora, the estranged wife of Olanrewaju Kayode, the Super Eagles footballer, has denied allegations of infidelity, paternity, and financial fraud levelled against her.
In March, there were rumours that Ezinne had an affair with Tobi Adegboyega, the founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation).
The reports alleged that Adegboyega “engaged in sexual affairs with Ezinne, who frequently attended orgies, leaving home for extended periods”.
It also claimed she “stole two Mercedes SUVs from her husband to finance the lavish lifestyle of Adegboyega and associates”.
On Saturday, rumours also circulated online claiming a DNA test had been conducted, proving that the children did not belong to Olarewaju.
Ezinne, however, denied the allegations through her legal representatives.
In a lawsuit posted on her Instagram page on Saturday, her lawyers said the claims are “defamatory, causing severe embarrassment to our client and her children”.
Ezinne also asked Olarewaju to issue a disclaimer via his social media platforms within 24 hours.
The letter added that failure to adhere to the demands would leave “our client with no choice but to seek full custody of their children in the ongoing divorce proceedings”.
“It has come to our client’s attention that since May 24th, 2024, various blogs online platforms have been disseminating salacious stories alleging that results of a DNA test reveal that none of the three children born during marriage to our client belong to you. These scandalous and defamatory stories have spread rapidly, causing severe embarrassment to our client and children,” the letter reads.
“Our client has reason to believe that these baseless and humiliating allegation were contrived and strategically planted by you across various media out with the malicious intent of tarnishing her reputation and causing irreparable harm to the innocent children.
“Our client’s belief is further substantiated by your conspicuous inaction since the commencement of these false narratives. Your failure to dispel these rumours or issue a disclaimer only reinforces our client’s suspicion of your involvement in orchestrating this smear campaign.
“Our client categorically states that, contrary to the false allegations being peddled, no DNA test has ever been carried out on any of the children, as you well know. However, our client is willing and ready for such a test to be immediately conducted by a reputable and neutral institution or facility if you so desire.
“The impact of these unfounded stories on the innocent children has been profound. Since these reports started circulating, they have been weeping nonstop and have refused to eat, sleep or leave the house. They have been subjected to ridicule by their peers, causing them considerable emotional anguish. Our client has never seen them as sad and demoralized as they are now.
“In light of the gravity of the situation, we hereby demand that within 24 hours of receipt of this letter, you issue a public disclaimer on all your social media platforms, prominently stating that no such DNA test was ever conducted on the children and the purported test result is completely false. This disclaimer must be prominently displayed on your Instagram and any other relevant accounts to ensure maximum visibility and reach.
“Failure to comply with this demand will leave our client with no choice but to notify the Court and seek full custody of the children in the ongoing divorce proceedings. We trust that you will act swiftly and responsibly to rectify this egregious situation.”

What actually happened during Mohbad’s last moment — Nurse

The auxiliary nurse who treated the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, has revealed what transpired that led to his demise.
Testifying before Justice C.A. Shotobi at the Coroner’s Court in Ikorodu, Lagos, on Friday, Ogedengbe recounted that after giving Mohbad the injection, he developed goosebumps. His wife, Omowunmi, allegedly described it as a “normal response” for him.
According to the nurse, she was called to treat Mohbad for a cut on September 11, 2023. The following day, she administered tetanus, paracetamol, and antibiotic injections.
After the third injection, Mohbad reportedly felt nauseous and threw up, leading to weakness and goosebumps.
Nurse’s testimony on how Mohbad died
“On Sept 11, 2023 I was at Cotonou to process my admission. As I was on my way back , I saw Spending’s missed call and I called him back. Then he told me I should come and treat his friend in the house who had a cut. I told him I was just coming back from Cotonou.
“I later missed his calls because I couldn’t pick up. As I got to CMS, a call came in from DJ Bami, he introduced himself that he was from Spending. I couldn’t go to the house that day. I got there the next day at about 2:30pm. I met a guy in the sitting room carrying Liam and DJ Bami led me upstairs.
“On getting to the room Mohbad was, I saw some water on the floor which Dj Bami mopped. We then moved Mohbad from the room he was to another room. It was only the 4 of us that were upstairs. Me, Mohbad, Djbami and Wunmi. As I was giving the first injection, Mohbad asked me the type of injection I wanted to give him and I told him Tetanus Injection, Paracetamol Injection and antibiotics. I first gave him Tetanus and Paracetamol Injection. After I gave him the paracetamol injection, Wunmi said he had ulcer.
“When I gave him the third injection, he started reacting and saying he wanted to throw up. Djbami and wunmi led him to the bathroom where he threw up. After throwing up, he sat down on the floor and was very weak. Then, goose bumps appeared on his body. Wunmi told me that is how he used to react to injection and I told her that she should have told me before.
“She then said that if they pour water on his head, he will calm down. Wunmi then poured water on him. When I saw the goose bumps, Dj Bami and I quickly went down to rush to the pharmacy so we could get an antidote. We got to the first pharmacy but they didn’t have what we wanted, we then went to another pharmacy. They called Djbami from the house that Mohbad was convulsing and I told them to rush him to the hospital.”
