In a statement issued on Sunday, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Osman Chennar, said the President’s leadership has continued to inspire confidence and renewed hope among Nigerians.

Chennar, who spoke on behalf of the Board of Directors, management and staff of the firm, expressed gratitude to God for the President’s life, describing him as a visionary leader dedicated to national development.

He said, “We give thanks to Almighty God for the gift of your life, your strength, and your unwavering dedication to our nation. Your visionary leadership, patriotism, and tireless service continue to inspire hope and confidence among Nigerians.”

The DICON-D7G boss particularly acknowledged the President’s role in revitalising the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria and supporting the establishment of the company’s joint venture, which he noted is already boosting local capacity in defence manufacturing.

According to him, the administration’s policies are driving the production, maintenance, and repair of military equipment within the country, thereby reducing dependence on foreign imports.

He noted that the renewed focus on indigenous capability is gradually repositioning Nigeria’s defence architecture for technological advancement and strategic independence.

Chennar added, “Your commitment to indigenous capability is reshaping Nigeria’s defence sector and positioning our nation for technological advancement and strategic independence.”
