Underlining his recognition of the indispensable role journalists play in society, President Tinubu’s contribution of 700 bags of 5KG rice for Ramadan welfare to members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Zone A (Northwest) is a testament to his dedication to their well-being.

Ensuring fairness and inclusivity, each state council within NUJ Zone A, encompassing Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara States, was allocated 100 bags of rice, guaranteeing equal distribution among members.

The NUJ Zonal office orchestrated the seamless transportation and distribution of the rice, ensuring prompt delivery to journalists across the region, thereby facilitating timely access to essential provisions.
