North Central Leaders, Governors  organise grand reception for Akume

Leaders and stakeholders of the North Central zone are hosting the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume to a grand reception on Friday, 18th of August in Abuja.

The reception taking place at the International Conference Centre, Abuja is to be anchored by the North Central Governors’ Forum, North Central People’s Forum and committee of Friends of the SGF, under the chairmanship of His Excellency, Gen. ABDULSALAM ABUBAKAR GCFR, Former Head of State and His Excellency Gen Yakubu GOWON as the FATHER OF THE DAY.

Expected to grace the occasion are President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who will be the Special Guest of Honor, state Governors, North Central Elders, Traditional and Religious Leaders, ministers, Captains of the industry and friends & family of the SGF

In preparation for the grand event, members of the Central Planning Committee (CPC) led Arch AA Oseze, Ezekiel Gomos OFR, Hon. Bisi Abioye, Barr. Maureen Agbo, Hajia Larai Kolo, Hon. Kabir Ajanah, Ambassador Mabdul, Chief Kanayo Okoye, Barrister David Iorhemba and SGF’s representative visited Sen. Akume in his office on Thursday to brief him of the activities line up by the people of the North Central zone to celebrate one of their illustrious sons.

Akume in his remarks expressed delight that his home and region are celebrating him.

Akume, the former Governor of Benue State, former Senator and former Minister was appointed by President Tinubu immediately after being sworn – in as President and Commander – in – Chief of Nigerian Armed Forces.
