In an alarming turn of events, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has uncovered the purported suspension of its National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, orchestrated by impostors linked to the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP).
According to Felix Morka, the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, the fraudulent suspension was falsely proclaimed by individuals posing as Ward officials from the Ganduje Ward in the Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State.
The APC swiftly condemned the deceitful action, attributing it to a group of impersonators with affiliations to the NNPP. These impostors, not recognised as legitimate APC members, sought to disrupt the peace within the Ganduje Ward and tarnish the party’s integrity.
Morka highlighted the sinister motive behind the charade, alleging it to be a component of a broader political persecution agenda orchestrated by the ruling NNPP in Kano, under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration.
The purported suspension, deemed criminal by the APC, holds no validity. The genuine Executive Committee of the Ganduje Ward swiftly disowned the action, reinstating Dr. Ganduje’s status as a loyal and respected member of the party.
In response to this egregious act, the APC has petitioned the Inspector General of Police, urging a prompt investigation to apprehend the perpetrators and their backers. The party stands firm in its support of Dr. Ganduje, affirming his position as the National Chairman.
The APC calls upon its supporters and the public to dismiss any reports suggesting the suspension of Dr. Ganduje, reaffirming his unwavering leadership within the party.
