The Nigeria Immigration Service has announced the venue for its special passport intervention exercise in Cardiff, United Kingdom, scheduled to run from October 6 to 30, 2026.

The exercise will take place at the Western Leisure Centre, Ely, Cardiff, CF5 5HJ, as part of efforts to ease passport processing for Nigerians living in the diaspora.

The NIS disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday by its Service Public Relations Officer, DCI Akinsola Akinlabi.

The Service said applicants must book appointments before attending the exercise and warned that only those with confirmed appointments would be attended to.

“Consequently, applicants are required to book their intervention appointments via the designated link or through the Nigeria High Commission’s website and are to strictly adhere to their scheduled dates and times,” the statement said.

The NIS stressed that there would be no walk-in service at the venue.

“Only applicants with booked appointments will be attended to,” it added.

Applicants are expected to present a completed application form, payment slips as evidence of payment, intervention appointment printout and a self-addressed return envelope.

They are also required to bring their current passport, except applicants seeking fresh passports or those reporting lost passports.

The Service further clarified that cash payments would not be accepted at the venue.

The NIS urged applicants to cooperate with officials and comply with the appointment arrangements to ensure a smooth and orderly exercise.
