Celebrated chef Hilda Baci, known for her exceptional culinary achievements, has been dethroned from her Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
The announcement was made by the Guinness Book of Records on its official X account on Tuesday.
The new record holder, Alan Fisher, from Ireland, accomplished an astonishing culinary marathon, cooking for 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan.
The news has evoked various reactions from Nigerians.
A Twitter user named DanielRegha commented, “Hilda Baci’s reign has come to an end, but her name will forever be inscribed in the history books, which is an achievement.
