Honourable Anas Abdullahi Kaura has celebrated a major milestone in his educational empowerment efforts, as 19 students under his scholarship scheme were honoured with the prestigious Award of Outstanding Leadership at Annahada International University, Maradi, Niger Republic.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Suleiman Sketch , and made available to journalists in Gusau on Friday afternoon.
The awards, conferred by the university, recognised the students’ exceptional leadership abilities, academic achievements, and meaningful contributions to university life. The recognition underscores the far-reaching impact of Hon. Kaura’s educational support programme.
“Investing in education is investing in the future leaders who will shape our communities and our world,” Hon. Kaura stated. “Witnessing these 19 brilliant minds being formally recognised for their leadership on an international stage brings me immense pride.”

The Hon. Kaura Scholarship Initiative was launched to enable outstanding students to pursue international academic opportunities while developing leadership and cross-cultural skills.
