The former Karu LG Chairman Hon. Samuel Akala Gajere congratulate Rt. Hon. Balarabe Abdullahi Ibrahim ( APC) on his well-deserved re-election as the Speaker of the 7th Assembly in Nasarawa State.
It is indeed a great honor to be chosen again to lead the Assembly, and I am confident that under his guidance, the Assembly will achieve remarkable progress and bring positive change to the state, Akala stateted.
I would also like to extend my warmest felicitations to Hon. Abel Yakubu Bala (PDP) and all the other newly elected House Members on their successful inauguration.
May you all find the wisdom and strength to fulfill your mandates and serve the people of Nasarawa State effectively, especially during these challenging economic times.
Your desire for peace and development in Nasarawa State is commendable, and I share your hope that the 7th Assembly will work collectively to achieve these goals for the benefit of all citizens.
I applaud the efforts of His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, and other stakeholders in resolving the crisis within the Assembly.
Their commitment to finding common ground and fostering unity is essential for the progress and stability of the state.
Your recognition of the courage and patriotism displayed by Hon. Daniel Ogah Ogazi and his group is praiseworthy.
In defending democracy and allowing development to thrive, they have indeed become heroes of Democracy.
I Hon. Samuel Akala Gajere, appreciate your dedication to upholding the rule of law and advocating for true democracy and due process.
Your commitment to these principles will undoubtedly contribute to the strengthening of Democracy and the Rule of Law in Nasarawa State.
I am aware that a lot of persons have misinterpreted my position on the Assembly crisis.
However, I wish to state clearly that posterity will judge us all fairly, as I do not have enemies to fight.
It is heart-warming to note that the fresh conduct of the elections and inauguration irrespective of who wins, justified the position I have been canvassing since the crisis erupted.
I am therefore fulfilled that the rule of law finally prevailed and i do hope that a lot of lessons have been learnt and the key players in democracy will be guided going forward.
“As an advocate for true democracy and due process, I shall continually speak in defence of democracy and that which is right” said Akala.
Once again, congratulations on your re-election, and I wish you a successful tenure ahead.
May God Almighty bless and prosper Nasarawa State under your leadership and that of the 7th Assembly.
