The Lagos State National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has issued a statement shedding light on the suspect responsible for administering the injection that led to Mohbad’s untimely demise.

The passing of Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has left a void in the music industry and the hearts of his fans.

His father, Joseph Aloba, shared a heart-wrenching account of how his son lost his life after receiving an injection on September 12.

This incident has led to an ongoing investigation, with the NANNM closely monitoring the situation.

The Lagos State National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives extends its heartfelt condolences to Mohbad’s associates and family during this trying period. As we collectively mourn his tragic passing, our thoughts and prayers are with them.

While we wholeheartedly support the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death, we stress the importance of professionalism in reporting and conducting this inquiry.

The NANNM urges the relevant authorities to leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of justice for the late singer.

In light of the unfolding events, it has become evident that the individual taken into custody by the police for providing care to Mohbad is not a registered nurse, according to the preliminary investigations conducted by the NANNM.

This revelation underscores the critical importance of verifying the qualifications and professional status of individuals before labeling them as healthcare professionals.

The tragic incident involving Mohbad serves as a stark reminder of the potential risks associated with unqualified healthcare providers.

To avoid such unfortunate occurrences in the future, it is imperative that rigorous checks are in place to ensure that only registered and qualified healthcare professionals are entrusted with the well-being of individuals.

As the investigation into Mohbad’s untimely death continues, the NANNM remains vigilant, advocating for justice and emphasizing the significance of professionalism in healthcare.
