Zainab Galadima, daughter of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) chieftain Buba Galadima, has accused ministers in President Bola Tinubu’s administration of gross underperformance.
Speaking on the *Mic On* podcast with Seun Okinbaloye, Zainab claimed that out of over 45 ministers, only four are delivering results, dismissing the rest as ineffective.
“They cannot do anything,” she said, recounting instances where ministers rebuffed suggestions, citing a lack of capacity to act.
Zainab contrasted Tinubu’s cabinet with that of former President Muhammadu Buhari, asserting that Buhari’s ministers had greater financial resources and autonomy.
“Under Buhari, you could propose an idea, and ministers had the means to act,” she noted.
She warned that the perceived inaction of Tinubu’s ministers could pose challenges for the ruling party in the 2027 general elections.
The presidency has not yet responded to Zainab’s remarks, which come amid growing public frustration over governance and economic issues.
Her comments have reignited debates about the effectiveness of Tinubu’s administration, now under increasing scrutiny.
