Kwara State, Nigeria – The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, has emerged as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the upcoming election.
Senator Musliu Obanikoro, Chairman of the APC Supervisory Committee for the state’s governorship primary, made the declaration on Friday. According to the official result, Danladi-Salihu polled 94,990 votes, defeating the eight other aspirants in the contest.
