Reuben Jimoh, Chairman of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) in Kogi State, confirmed that the midterm break has been advanced to serve as an emergency lockdown.

Speaking to reporters in Lokoja, Kingsley Fanwo, the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, clarified that the decision was made out of a sense of responsibility rather than panic. “We are acting proactively to prevent avoidable incidents.
