“We recognize and appreciate the efforts of His Excellency, Governor Nasir Idris, in driving growth across key sectors in Kebbi State,” the statement read.

“His administration has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the welfare of the people, strengthening security, and enhancing critical infrastructure.”

The group particularly commended the governor’s focus on education, noting that his administration has prioritized school renovations, the provision of learning materials, and the recruitment of more teachers.

They also lauded his contributions to humanitarian aid, citing support for vulnerable communities and intervention programmes aimed at alleviating poverty.

On infrastructure, the association acknowledged the ongoing construction and rehabilitation of roads, bridges, and public facilities, which they believe will boost economic activities and improve the standard of living in the state.

Security was another key area in which the governor received commendation. The group credited his administration for working closely with security agencies to tackle challenges such as banditry and other criminal activities, ensuring a safer environment for residents.

Governor Nasir Idris, who assumed office in 2023, has rolled out various policies aimed at fostering economic growth and social development in Kebbi State. His administration has also been actively involved in attracting investment and fostering partnerships to accelerate progress.
