In a proactive crackdown operation, the Kano Police successfully apprehended 15 suspects and recovered 20 stolen vehicles, displaying their unwavering commitment to eradicating criminal activities in the state.

The Kano Police Command disclosed the successful recovery of 15 vehicles stolen from various parts of the state.

This achievement comes on the heels of a month-long series of crackdown operations, emphasizing the command’s dedication to curbing criminality.

SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, the spokesperson for Kano Police Command, highlighted their commitment to protecting lives and property through community-based policing and intelligence-led strategies.

This aligns with the directive from I-G Egbetokun, urging all police commands to adopt these approaches for enhanced service delivery.

The state police proactively tackled the rising cases of motor vehicle theft by initiating a sequence of crackdown operations. As a result, they successfully arrested 15 suspected motor vehicle thieves and recovered 20 exhibit vehicles.

Commending the understanding, cooperation, and support from the public, Commissioner of Police, Usaini Gumel, reiterated the command’s commitment to maintaining high standards.

He urged citizens to report any suspicious activities promptly, emphasizing the crucial role community vigilance plays in ensuring security.

The Kano Police’s resolute actions not only reflect their commitment to immediate safety but also underscore their dedication to long-term security measures.
